Special entertaining events programmed weekends in Armory Square to herald the holiday spirit include street caroling, live music at restaurants, afternoon complimentary Teas and early evening cocktail hours. Especially notable over all the events is the presence in the Square of two famed characters –Abe Walton, first visionary of the eclectic district, and Santa Claus, the season's jolliest personality.
