The Warehouse A collaboration between Syracuse University and the Syracuse Community transformed an unused warehouse in Syracuse's Armory Square into a unique facility. The renovated structure provides flexible space for design studios, classrooms, and offices for both the School of Architecture and The School of Visual and Performing Arts, while providing a venue for public lectures, exhibitions, and galleries. The Warehouse marks the western most boundary of what is envisioned as the Connective Corrido, the cultural arts pathway stretching from the University through the city to Armory Square. It underscores the growing momentum for the revitalization of downtown. Gluckman Mayner Architects of New York City, recognized internationally for their work on museums and cultural institutions, were the designers for the project in partnership with V.I.P. Structures of Syracuse, N.Y.
